Hanif Kureishi

Né en 1954, Hanif Kureishi est un écrivain, scénariste et dramaturge anglais. Il se fait connaître en 1984 en signant le scénario de My Beautiful Laundrette (nominé aux Oscars), et remporte en 1990 le prix Whitbread pour son premier roman Le Bouddha de banlieue. Il est l'auteur d'une dizaine de romans (Intimité, Quelque chose à te dire, L'air de rien...) traduits en 36 langues. Victime d'une attaque cérébrale en 2022 qui le laisse paralysé, il vit aujourd'hui à Londres où il continue d'écrire.
